Stetson Mansion was hat-maker John B. Stetson’s winter home. Built in 1886, it is the oldest historic mansion in Florida. It features the rich details of historic homes from the Gilded Age, one of the most prosperous eras in our nation’s history. You’ll find intricate wood carvings, delightful and unusual parquet wood floors, and 10,000 panes of historic glass windows. Wraparound porches grace the exterior of the mansion, and guests can stroll through the elegant, well-kept gardens surrounding the house.
The architectural richness of this private estate speaks of the lavish parties that the Stetsons hosted years ago. However, the mansion is not a historic museum or a home frozen in time. The present-day mansion has been restored and updated with timeless furnishings and modern infrastructure, making it the perfect setting for whatever you are celebrating with friends, family, or coworkers!
