This enchanting event invites you to celebrate the holiday season with family and friends in Florida's most historic private home, where you will have the opportunity to embark on a magical journey through 10 beautiful rooms designed and intricately decorated by the owners. Each room theme honors a different traditional Christmas song. Tours share the inspiration and creativity behind our elaborate, elegant, and deeply personal Christmas display, which celebrates the birth of Christ and the true meaning of the holiday season.
Recognized by USA TODAY as "#1 Christmas Display in Florida" and "#2 in the USA," the Stetson Mansion is the perfect venue for a holiday home tour. Afterall, it was the Victorians who started our current traditions like decorated trees and gift giving. Built in 1886 for iconic hat maker John B. Stetson, its intricate wood carvings, 16 unique parquet floor patterns, and 10,000 panes of antique glass, dazzles visitors admiring this year's designer decorations. Thomas Edison, a close friend of John B. Stetson, installed the electric system that allowed for one of the first set of electric Christmas tree lights to illuminate a tree in the Stetson Mansion.
The Self-Guided audio tour focuses specifically on Christmas and does not cover historical aspects; however, a detailed history will be emailed to you. For those interested in a more comprehensive experience, we also offer the Guided Tour that combines both the festive elements of Christmas and the mansion's rich history.
Regular historic tours resume in February.

Tickets are Changeable once at least 3 days in advance. All Tickets may be Transferred or Resold to others for the same date and time. There are no refunds for any reason unless the event is canceled.

Sorry, no photography is permitted in the mansion for security reasons.
Access: There are 2 steps to get in the buildings and no elevators are permitted. There are 16 steps to floor 2. Many guests do just tour the first floor. A portable ramp for wheelchair admission to the mansion is provided. Wheelchairs and walkers with wheels and felt pads are welcome (no plastic skids.) No electric scooters or electric chairs are permitted due to the fragile floors.
